XC Skiing Waterton March 12 2011

Spent a wonderful day in Waterton XC skiing.  We were invited to join one of the docs, Dr Pete Greidanus and his family:  his wife Bette, daughter Julie and her husband Lowell.
We had a fantastic day!
Spent some of the day on my ass and had more than one speed wobble.
A combination of weight and a lack of skill meant I was pretty much a hazard on the downhill.  Luckily no harm came to any women, children or woodlands animal and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with an awesome family.
Adele was a natural and by the end of the day I was doing quite well too.
We've been incredibly lucky and the Canadians we have met have made us feel incredibly welcome.

The air was amazingly crisp and the smell of the pine trees was wonderful

Lots of snow
